Lose Weight by Using a Good Incentive

It’s kind of funny to think about NOT having an incentive to lose weight.  Most of us who want to lose weight will think, when I lose 10 pounds, I’ll buy those new pants I’ve been wanting.  I’m really bad because I don’t think in terms of clothes, but in food.

My incentive is to bring back those things that I may have given up to lose the weight, but only minimally.  I will know, after losing the weight, which things were bad for me, but I also know that I liked them before, and still crave them.  So, in order not to feel deprived, I will allow myself a few things after losing weight, that’s just the way it works, there has to be something to work towards, and setting the goal, with a reward after it is the key.  Here’s an interesting quote I found which says it all (and I think is fairly humorous)!

Not having an incentive to lose weight, makes weight loss impossible.
