Lose Weight Just by Sleeping – New Study Proves Results

I just read an interesting story on sleeping and weight gain.  It appears that not getting enough sleep can cause weight gain in women.

The study (The Nurse’s Health Study) was done on 68,183 healthy women from the ages of 30-55 years old.  Weight gain was reported every two years for 16 years.  That’s a long study!  If I was the one who was gaining weight, I would want the results quicker than that – – anyway. . .

In the study, women who only got 5 or 6 hours sleep per night gained more than those who got 7 hours – about 2.3 more pounds!, while those who got 6 hours of sleep only gained 1.5 more pounds.  Remember that we are looking at a 16 year period, so that may not seem too bad – However, women who slept only 5 hours per night had a weight gain of about 33 pounds!

I’m one of the lucky ones.  When I go to bed I fall asleep instantly.  However, if you’re one of those who does not get enough sleep at night, you might want to try a sleep remedy, here are a few I’ve found:
