Why You Can’t Get What You Want

What is the first thing you tell yourself the moment you decide to do something (like lose weight, start a new project, etc.).  If you’re like me, you might say something like – I should lose weight – or I have to get started on that new venture.

However, these are the exact words that will make part of you rebel, and you will probably not take action.  For some reason, which you will be unaware of, you will refuse to do what is in your best interest, even if deep down you really want to do it.  Just because you used the words “should” and “have to.”

So, how can you decide to do something, and actually get it done?  It’s easy, just put the decision back in your hands by using words like – I choose – or I want.  That makes it something you choose to do, not something you HAVE to do.

So, instead of saying – I should lose weight – you will say, I choose to eat salads for lunch – or I want to start that venture today.

It’s amazing that just a few words can make such a difference, but take a chance and try it! What have you got to lose?

Now that I’ve shown you the two words you can change to help you move along with your decisions, would you like to find out how you can change the way your business and life work – in just 3 minutes and with 3 simple steps?  Get more info here.
